2018 Holiday Gift Guide

Welcome to the hustle and bustle of the holidays. We are all searching for that perfect gift for all the ladies on our list, so I have compiled a list of some of my favorite products from fellow female entrepreneurs that make awesome and thoughtful gifts for women (and a few for the guys as well!) on your shopping list. As a small business owner, I highly encourage you to support other small businesses before heading out to the department stores this year. Take a look below at some of my favorite products and check off a few names on your holiday gift list at the same time.

Fish Fixe

Co-founders Melissa and Emily launched Fish Fixe to empower families to eat seafood at home. Not only do their boxes include tons of perfectly-portioned seafood, they also include thawing, prepping, and cooking instructions to totally take the guesswork out of dinner. Fish Fixe has a variety of seafood, so you won’t get sick of eating the same thing, and includes many portions for your family. Perfect for busy moms, busy entrepreneurs, and anyone that wants to spend as little time grocery shopping as possible (hello, me!), Fish Fixe us a thoughtful and healthy gift idea for the seafood lovers in your life. Enjoy code FIRSTTIMEFISHFIXER for $10 off your first box!

Feya Candles

I am all about gifts that keep on giving, and that is exactly what I love about the socially-conscious company, Feya Candles. Every candle purchased donates a meal to a child in need. So those coworker gifts, your Secret Santa, and the long list of cousins to buy for, can all receive a beautiful and great-smelling gift while giving back at the same time. The Cranberry Apple Marmalade scent is totally my jam; it’s 100% soy and has over 50 hours of burn time. They also offer quality and great-smelling soaps, and they give back too! For every soap sold, Feya Candles donates a bar to a city mission or a homeless shelter. Be sure to place your order by December 20th to ensure Christmas delivery.

Savorista

Who here loves coffee? Just kidding, I don’t have to ask – we all love it. There are a few of us, however unfortunately, that can’t handle all the caffeine. Does that mean they should have to tough it out with generic decaf? Not according to Savorista. Savorista is a craft decaf coffee company, born when Kait, the Founder, gave up caffeine because she was struggling to sleep. She quickly was quickly disappointed with the available decaf options. So, she traveled the world on a quest for decaf worth sharing and Savorista was born! Whether it’s because you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or just a little extra jittery, Savorista wants you to still enjoy a quality cup of coffee. Here’s my favorite part: use code SEVENTHCENTRAL15 for 15% off your order!

A Tea Leaf

My husband and I were checking out a few local shops after arriving in Washington, and I found the most beautiful pair of ginkgo earrings. They were handcrafted and packaged so sweetly by fellow Pacific Northwest local, A Tea Leaf, and I knew I had to share her work with all of you. Alissa combines her talents of graphic design, illustration, and jewelry making to create unique and totally affordable pieces. Her one-of-a-kind creations make great gifts for your girlfriend, your sister, or your best friend. A Tea Leaf’s Etsy shop is filled with a range of designs sure to fit anyone’s style, but I’m sharing my favorite ginkgo-inspired pieces below. Place your order by December 17th to guarantee delivery by Christmas.

The Bali Market

The love I have for Turkish towels runs deep; they are luxurious, but minimalist – perfect for guests, the beach, or packing up and taking on the go. Supermom, Grace Druecke, owns The Bali Market and offers quality and authentically handmade towels at a great gift price point for Mom, newlyweds, or anyone that deserves something a little extra special for their home. The Bali Market offers quality towels that will be used for years, they take up less space in your linen closet, they support an ethical and women lead team of artisans, and they come packaged minimally in recyclable materials, which means this is a gift you can feel great about giving. The Perfect Classic Bundle makes for an exceptional gift, and while you order one for a gift, I encourage you to order a set for yourself and try them in your own home. Place your order by December 19th to ensure delivery by Christmas.

Band-its Headbands

Perfect for the athlete in your life, Band-its Headbands has been a favorite product of mine for a couple of years now, and you’ve probably seen them on my head whether you’ve realized it or not. Not only are these headbands available in tons of patterns and textures (they even have personalization available!), but they truly are totally and completely non-slip no matter your hair type. There’s nothing worse than being halfway through your yoga class in a downward dog when your headband slips back and off of your head – yeah, you know that frustration. Say goodbye to being frustrated with Band-its. These headbands are at a great price point for stocking stuffers, and coworkers so you can order one for each runner, weightlifter, and yogi on your list. The date to order for Christmas delivery depends on personalization and shipping method so check their Facebook page here, for up-to-date information.

One For Women

One For Women is truly taking the guess work out of gift giving for all of us this year! Mother-daughter team, Meg and Heidi, launched One For Women with a passion for supporting women-owned businesses. Super cool, right? By ordering a gorgeous, curated gift box from them, you aren’t just supporting their women-owned business but multiple all at once because each item in the box is supplied from other women lead businesses! While they offer gift boxes all year round, they have two special sets for the holidays, which you can order through December 19th for priority shipping by Christmas. Holiday sets, Cozy and Fete, are perfect for neighbors, bosses, and friends, but don’t forget, they have a ton of gift collections perfect for so many occasions. When you place your holiday order, be sure to add a greeting card to your gift set and then use code GIFTGUIDE2018 to get that card for free!
