5 Seattle Area Wedding Venues I'm Dying to Work At

Updated: Aug 13, 2018

We’ve known for a couple of months now that our family, and my business will be relocating to Washington State this fall, so what is the first thing I did? Swoon over weddings in the Pacific Northwest, obviously. There’s no shortage of beautiful spaces along Puget Sound with mountainous and chic cityscape views accessible within a couple of hours. While they’re in no particular order, here are the top five wedding venues I can’t wait to work at in Washington.

1. Trinity Tree Farm

Located in Issaquah, Washington, Trinity Tree Farm is exactly what I picture when I think of a wedding in the Pacific Northwest. Your wedding ceremony taking place while Mt. Rainier peeks out between clouds over 40-acres of farmland? Sign us up. They have a gorgeous barn venue as well as a lodge option which means they can serve you if you prefer the rustic look or something more formal. Learn more here.

2. Dairyland

I’ve been crushing on this venue for quite some time now. Woodland Meadow Farms’ Dairyland is located in Snohomish, WA and features a unique space that’s still neutral enough to allow couples an opportunity to customize their décor to any style that suits them. From the whimsical to the traditional this space compliments a variety of styles and budgets; a huge win for couples planning their weddings all over Puget Sound. Learn more here.

3. Woodinville Lavender

The first time I saw Woodinville Lavender, I was exploring Instagram and fell in love. There’s no way this place exists in real life, but it does! In Redmond, WA, this venue is available for weddings and private events with up to 80 guests in attendance. Learn more here. Seriously, you need to see these photos.

4. The Center for Wooden Boats

Growing up, I lived next door to a marina in a town known for its historic wharves and fishing legacy. This venue, in Seattle’s Lake Union had my heart right away. The dark wood sets the mood for this building set floating among impressive local boats making this a magnificent and one-of-a-kind setting for your intimate wedding. See more here.

5. Thornewood Castle

Are you a princess at heart? I know I am. Fulfill your fairy tale dreams by hosting your wedding at Thornewood Castle in Lakewood, WA. From the garden to the staircases this venue is impressive to say the least. The castle also sits beside a beautiful lake, so between the gorgeous exterior with a “secret” garden to the grand interior design, I’m confident you and your fiancé(e) will be able to find the perfect photo op. Learn more here.

Maybe you’re a bride and you’ve been looking for a venue in the area. If you are, consider these spaces and send me a quick note; I’d love to work with you to create the wedding of your dreams in the Seattle area.
